AI credits are included in every paid plan — you do not need to buy them separately. Credits reset each year when your license renews. If you're on the Starter plan and see 2,000 credits, that is correct — not a shortfall.

Credits Included Per Plan

• Starter — 2,000 AI credits/year
• Growth — 3,000 AI credits/year
• Pro — 5,000 AI credits/year
• Agency — 10,000 AI credits/year

What AI Credits Do

• Power AI-based link suggestions (semantic understanding, not just keyword matching)
• One credit is consumed each time Link Whisper analyzes a page or post
• Credits are shared across all sites on your license

Checking Your Balance

• In WordPress: go to LinkWhisper → Settings → AI Settings
• Your remaining credits are shown there

When Credits Run Out

• Link Whisper automatically falls back to keyword-based suggestions
• No features are disabled — only the AI-powered mode stops working
• Credits reset at the start of your next billing cycle (annual)

Need More Credits?

• Purchase additional credits from your account dashboard
• Or connect your own OpenAI API key — Link Whisper will use it instead of your included credits
• To add your OpenAI key: LinkWhisper → Settings → AI Settings → OpenAI API Key

I Received Fewer Credits Than Expected

• Credits are added at the start of your billing cycle — not immediately upon plan change
• If you upgraded mid-year, the full credit count applies at your next renewal
